Due to the enormous support we have received, we urge all competitors to please adhere to the program and to please be punctual. Without your help, the day will not be a success. We urge competitors to please register with their whole team at the scrutineering gate at 6am.
At registration and scrutineering, the Marshalls will show you where to park and where to attend the Drivers Briefing. Each team will be allocated an obstacle to start the day. We will then rotate the teams to the next obstacle from there throughout the day. The marshal at scrutineering will indicate which starting obstacle is allocated to each team.
The teams will start at their first obstacle at 8:30. With the sounding of the RFAD air-horn, the fun will begin. Each team will only receive 10 mins rotation between obstacles to move to the next obstacle and view the obstacle. After the viewing, each team will receive 30 minutes for the competitors to complete an obstacle and it is in the team’s best interest to ensure that you plan your time to get as many as possible of your team through the obstacle in the allocated time. The RFAD air-horn will indicate the start and end of each obstacle’s 30 min time window. Team members who have not competed, will not get an opportunity to start the obstacle after the 30 minutes at the obstacle have expired.
Between each obstacle a rotation between the members of a team should apply. (so the person that started the previous obstacle will be last to start at the next obstacle and so on). (Please phone a friend if you do not understand this).
After the long day of fun we will start with the prize giving at 16:00 and you will be able to find out how well you did on the day (or poorly).
The cash bar will be open from 16:00 till late.
Food will be available for sale.
Please note: No liquor will be allowed within the vehicles or to be consumed during the day when you are on the obstacles. You may use it afterwards at the prize giving and at the social when the course is closed.
After the braai, please support our sponsors and have a safe trip home! We would also like to thank all of our sponsors and all the Marshals, Organisers, and the rest of the people attending (such as yourselves) for being part of making this a great day!
Regards,
Ronell Davel
