Sounds like your rear brake shoes are binding. They will stick and then "break free" eventually when you try and move the vehicle forward and backwards. I had the exact same issue with a vw beetle that was standing a lot.

Remove the rear brake drums and make sure that there is no rust, correct shoes, links connected correctly and clean. Make sure the brakes and handbrake is correctly adjusted.

Brakes are binding, just try a bit harder to drive it forward or backwards, but just be careful, when it suddenly realeases it will move quickly. Depending on where it is parked make sure there is space for it to move once it gets loose.

No it won't move if the brakes are binding and it means the brakes are tight even when the handbrake is released. This could be due to sticky/rusted handbrake cables or handbrake linkages inside at the brake shoe assembly.

My Aygo did it twice.
It is as if the handbrake do not want to release. It happens especially if you park the vehicle either after driving in the rain or washing the car.

A friend of mine's wife bumped his Hilux against the garage wall because of the same thing.
