You could look at things like geo-caching / treasure hunts / blind-fold challenges / short non-challenging and assisted events within an event for capable children, maybe like sitting on dad's lap and steering through an easy obstacle or course / reversing through obstacles / ladies challenges / the occasional night drive / puzzle solving at various points in a trail - can be for individuals or teams / safety taken care of you could incorporate air rifle target shooting at points along the trail or afterwards.

You could also do a "relay race" with teams or individuals. You can include any number of obstacles and competitors are timed from a starting point to cross the obstacles, reach a turnaround point (or pick up / touch and end point which means getting out of the vehicle and may disadvantage someone that is not very mobile) and return across the obstacle/s in opposite direction to the starting point. You could score it on time only or time combined with the challenge criteria that Hennie has formulated - the latter would make it a less reckless affair.

Just as a little incentive I have a Gazoo Racing (DAKAR) cap that will be going to the winner next Saturday......

Just remember, I made the rules for this round so it would be pretty stupid for me not to win it....

R250-00 per vehicle, two people. (Not sure if there are additional charges for extra people)
So far we are 7 vehicles.
