BRAKKENDUINNE - OYSTERBAY EASTERN CAPE

Post by Cabbage »

Also another good place to have some fun in the sand. It is a guided drive but the camping and dam are good fun for the whole family. We went when there was a bit of rain around so the sand was a bit easier, gonna go back on a hot day. should be a good laugh....
Added a couple of pics, also not much of a camera man....

Thanks guys. If i can brag, did the body work and extras myself, took me a good 5 weeks hard labour. My girlfriend knows what comes first when it comes to that bakkie....  Have done a few local trips in PE like off camber, Maitland mines, Rooinek in Patensie and the Brakkenduine dunes. I have only had the bakkie a year so far. I am the second owner (385000km on same motor and box etc, second repsray). The only change to the bakkie since the photos is a weber carb(loving it) and a snorkel.
If it takes me a while to reply please excuse, only get to check the forum at work :D: :D:

Brendon

Hi Welcome to the forum. Just one request, rather type all in small letters then all in caps as typing in capes mean shouting on a forum.

I have fixed these posts already but remember in future.

BTW Cool foudies

Had to let the hummer ride first while the sand was not churned up, made him feel special. That thing has got some huge shackles attached to it. We let him know about towing him out, but he was on a mission to do everything first and prove a point. One of the Hummers that did the trail 2 weeks before us actually popped its airbags while he crossed over another bakkies tracks. That Hummer only did two trails with us, then he sold it!!!!!
