About Time for a 4x4 Day Trail

Been soooo long to go 4x4' ing again.

Thinking of a Sunday in October. Call it a Late Spring drive. Lets say be similar than the one we had at De Wild a few years back...

Now to get a nice 4x4 route for the day.

What you say?

Louis I agree! (although to my embarrassement I have only done one outing with the forum!)

But it's been quiet for far too long!

My truck is nearly finished so hopefully I'l be able to test it out....

I'm also in the mood for a 4x4 outing; been camping & fishing but LR was not engaged.

How about "At se gat", I've never driven the trail

Did Kungwini just the other day. And Piesangkloof.
DeWildt has become a bit boring.
Never been to Spookspruit, but I believe the club was there recently?
Hobby park's red mud is too much of a hassle to wash off....

Spook spruit will be busy with the Bridgestone on the 17th Sept. and a lot of work has apparently gone into the trail since i was last there.

At se Gat.

Ok I start getting pricing from At se Gat from Monday. 4x4 Megaworld's Club will host.

Date I thinking of the 2nd October.

Don't worry Nico, I going to sit with big eyes too. Did not do a lot of 4x4'ing lately. :o:

It is time to get that LR engaged again. :yahoo:

Nick, that's the beauty of days like this, the guys are always keen to assist / advise and pass on their experience. And you're never pressured into doing an obstacle.

2 Oct - I will have to skip that one.
We are moving our autistic son over to a new care facility on that weekend as the current place where he is staying is under new management which we feel is incompetent, resulting in a rather serious injury to our boy. Their attitude of "it was not a medical emergency, he did not need to go to hospital" was contradicted by the Sunninghill emergency staff and our GP.

Fortunately I have had a number of occasions in the last few months to engage the short stick :D: , so I do not suffer from too much withdrawal symptoms. :laugh2:

Enjoy, gents.

I just spoke to Attie.

He says we more than welcome to come. He gave me a flat rate of R200 per vehicle, do not matter how many guys in the vehicle.

Here with the link: http://www.atsegat.co.za/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is a technical trail. But please remember you drive the obstacles you want.

Lets make it we all meet up at 8:30am. Pre briefing starts and we start the Trail after. Braai afterwards could be nice. We supply the charcoal and wood.

Can we cap the day to 20 vehicles?

I think be better if we get a list started:

1. LouisZ and Family
2. Shaun Bronkhorst
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
