Introduction.

Hi I am Alan and from Namibia, we have just purchased a 2010 Toyota HiLuxe 2.5 diesel 4x4 double cab and even after my last vehicle (Hyundai 3.5 Terracan) I find it whilst not being a Ferrari from the lights ! its fine for cruising at 120 all day regardless of the load. I am a professional photographer and tend to carry a lot of equipment, rooftop tent, fridge and all the normal stuff campers seem to collect. I am only putting the rooftop on next week and will post my findings. Nice to meet you all. Alan

Howzit and welcome Alan.The 2,5 vigo aint so fast but it has really proved itself to be very reliable and fairly cheap to run.They also go on forever.

Hi Alan, welcome, sure you going to love the chats on the forum... while some people believe that travelling at a slower speed is a problem, I tend to find that driving slower helps me to see my surroundings and enjoy them for a couple of seconds longer, and possibly see the photographic opportunities in them.
