A Hilux in Europistan.

This is how my Hilux started in March 2013. Pics taken just a few hours after it had arrived at the Toyota dealership! A 3.0D-4D 171 (171 HP) 5 Speed Manual Double Cab.
Thanks to the EU bureaucrats from Brussels our laws regarding "Builts" are insane. Tons of paperwork needed, a myriad of "technical controls"
Luckily I was able to register most of my transformations with the German "TüV", they are much more agreeable and helpful then the retards at our local Technical Inspection Center for Motor Vehicles.
More to come.

The Lux in the Vosges Mountains in France, after the first two rounds of tampering...
First thing I did, last February, was to mount Rhino Rack heavy duty bars with an Overzone rooftent onto the cab and Rhino Rack heavy duty bars with an Alloy Tray on the hardtop.
In April I replaced the complete standard suspension with OME gear, raising the ride about 5 cm. I also put on a Rhino 4X4 Front Bumper and a T-Max 4.3 to., X-Power HEW 9500 winch.

Tom, are those plates steel or aluminium?
What you still need under there is CV boot protection. See this topic

@ Mud Dog:
The plates are 6mm aluminium.
Next step will be CV protections and rock sliders. I haven't decided yet which model of CV protectors I want to put on. But for the rock sliders I'm pretty sure I will go with the Front Runner. They don't take away any ground clearance but they seem to be very sturdy.
