Need some ideas of how to mount this unit in the rear of the lux, anybody got some pics of what you have done
Being looking at ChrisF's setup, but would like to remove it easily. Thinking of using Brad plugs and mounting it to a bat box, sort of like the National Luna system.

Since you seem clueless in how to mount it you should just give it to me.
Rules are there to make you think before you break them!!!

Was spoilt with the Luna box, unplug, place in tent, and you have portable power. Maybe i should invest in a blank Luna box....

Re: Ctek D250S fitment?
I'm thinking you will build it in such a way that the Ctek is fitted on the box that houses your battery with plugs and so on. That way you can move the battery to you camp and still plug in your solar panel...
That is a lekker project. Why did you opt for the D250 and not the HCDP?

Re: Ctek D250S fitment?
Neil the connector solution depends on how you set up your "movable portion" .....
Battery box with connectors, fuses etc, ready to be used in the tent is clearly the way to go.
The question - do you want to leave the Ctek in the vehicle, or mount it to the battery box ??
I certainly would make it part of the battery box.
Then use a set of grey brad harisons for the 12V connection from the vehicle - this is most common for vehicles and your battery box could receive its 12V power source from any vehicle with a brad harison, even in the back of most trailers.
Use a red brad harison set for the solar.
Two sets of plugs and your battery box is out the vehicle. AND you could still use a portable solar panel and power the unit nicely packed away in your tent :)
