Dankie vir die lekker dag ouens. Goeie trippie gewees en sien uit na die volgende een. Mooi skoot gekry van Jaans by daai styl bult.

More Guys, For those that did not come due to the rocks only one mag got a scratch, and that was due to young girls (out of the gutters guys) distracting the driver at the wrong time and that was on a stock standard Prado.

So I will be organising another trip to Piesangkloof in the warmer months as I need to see that view without the hazyness of winter.

And would also like to just say a hugh thanks to Mike Els and his wife for opening up their home for our braai afterwards, very hospitable hosts.

See you al there in the summer.

i must say it was a very nice technical route. we absolutely have to go back in summer. the view was amazing this time so I cant imagine what it will look like in summer. and a scratched wheel wasn't the only damage ! I got an extra scratch on my running boards !

Righart, If you don't put a new dent / scratch on your side steps per trip then you was not there

I also got a little scratch on my left runningboard, but it's over an existing scratch, so pffffff.
It is a nice techincal route, and unlike a lot of other routes, there's no "play" area. Which is perfectly fine, as the route itself requires a lot of concentration, especially if your vehicle is stock like mine.

I also found that SLOW is just about the only way to go - as soon as you think the path is clear to the next little ridge, and you go a tad faster, boom!!! , klip op middelmanetjie, hidden in the long grass.
Loretta took a bit of punishment between those two front wheels, with a few bumps and scrapes. But her shocks are kaput, and I'm sure her torsion bars can be set up a bit - she's more nose-down than my KZ... And as I said, I tended to go a bit too fast on occasion...

I loved the route, scenery, technical aspects. Reminds a lot of 3Provinsies.
Both these routes have shown me that Loretta needs a bit of a lift, new shocks ( ) , sliders, a bash plate, and some other under-body protection...

This route is vehicle-friendly if you are patient and have an eye for good lines. It's basically one long obstacle.
