KZ Coolant gone missing

Post by george »

Ja I know my head is gone start saving for a AMC

That is the standard answer for a KZ owner

Just to explain and maybe a different outcome :beg:

My coolant is going somewhere.
I have had it tested at a radiator place. They did a pressure test and that chemical test to see if there is any exhaust gasses in the system and both came out positive. No leaks, but someone also told me you can not trust the test 100% for a diesel. Not to sure about that.

I also opened the radiator cap(when water was at working temp) and can not see any bubbles.

I am going to replace radiator cap and see. Must say there is some pink marks around the radiator pipe so maybe get some proper clamps
Also someone told me the waterpump can leak without seeing the water dripping.Again dont know aboot that

Any other suggestion or is it
head is gone start saving for a AMC

George

The water is most probably pushed out at the reservoir next to the radiator as was the case with mine - the only evidence is the pink coolant marks. Good luck and remember to use a genuine part head gasket.

George,
What is going on?With your your previous IFS the diff oil disappear now it is the coolant?

Water could also leak on the exhaust manifold and evaporate.

Give me a 'c' - C, give me an 'r' - R, give me a 'a' - A , give me a 'c' -C, give me a 'k' - K - whot has he got????

A cracked head!!!!

Dis maar so, ek het vir 18 maande in denail geleef en elke oggend so half liter water in die tenkie gegooi.

Nooit warm geword nie. Hoppy het destyds gese check elke dag die water, moenie sleep nie en ook nie ver pad ry nie.

Seker maklik 40-50 000km so gery.

Spaar al die moeite en geld vir toetse, hou die water se kleur dop - dit raak so charcoal kleur.
