Fortuner 3.0 D consumption

Post by KAPNEL1971 »

I have relocated from Cape Town to Johannesburg. My Fortuner seems to be giving me much less on fuel than in Cape Town. Is there something I can do about it?

Turbo must work a bit harder up at the Reef than down in CT.

How long have you been in JHB now? The Computer must also adapt to new altitude etc and that can take up to 1000km of driving.

It works the other way around isn't it. More power and better fuel economy at the coast.
