Not an arachnid fundi, but it looks like one of the rain spider types. Leave it be, it does more good than harm.

I have to agree with Andy. My book of Spiders does not show this one, but I know these ones very well. They do no harm, unless you are a small insect.

Yes it is a spider. A big one.
