At the main fusebox in the engine bay of my 1999 2.7 IFS Hilux, there is a big 50A "heater" fuse. What is that for? The heater uses water to heat?

I see it only gets power when ignition is on.

Are there pipes going through the firewall to an internal radiator? Could be that even if you have an internal heater radiator, that it's assisted with an electrical heater element for 'cold start' which kicks in until the internal radiator gets hot enough so that you have warm air immediately from start up.

Yoh! 50A for a blower motor? Does it really draw that much? The wiper motor is only 15 or 20A ....
