OBELIX'S ROCK SLIDERS

And so after a lot of reading and brain picking project the rock sliders has begun. steel bought and all cut up
And the brackets welded up
Well at least a start has been made on the brackets.

Measure twice and cut once
...... (not like me, cut 3 times and find it's STILL too short!

50x10mm flat bar for the brackets and 50x3mm thick square tubing as the slider and 50x3mm round tubing as a side step / secondary slider.
still trying to decide if I want to keep the secondary tubing slider at the same level as the square slider or to slightly raise the secondary slider / step.

and there was that issue with welds that contracted with the heat. So after much ado please refer to previous photographs for updates.
(and there is also the issue of the bedside tables that have to get finished for Dogmatix, ask no questions hear no lies

Okay so you all thought that I let this one die a quite death!!!!!
NOT SO
So now it is the painting and final fitting which will hopefully be this Saturday.
And thanks to Alien that helped with the mounting of the secondary rail.

Not sure how to price the above but that can be offset by the sense of accomplishment
The rands value will be About R1500.00 thats including consumables, paint etc.
