So I thought this might be a nice one to share....

This is my "Man Cave". Built it about a year ago and are still adding as I go. I spend a lot of time here to get my thoughts back on track. I do anything from metal to wood and enjoy keeping my hands busy.

Because I work with tools on a daily basis...i want to avoid the garage when its chill time. Here is my "Man Cave".
Here SWambo have almost no say and only sports are alowed to be shown on this tv. Soapies and cartoons are only watched in the living room.

Mine is still being built, though I guess the simple fact that it is being worked on already qualifies it as cave because while you are working on it you are not in the house.
Few years ago added a garage to the house, went double volume but at the time did not have $$$ for a slab floor, so this is what I am busy with, off and on. Loft above garage. Another 2-3 years, maybe I'll get there...

Tx, hard work, I did all the welding with an old oilcooled Tonco which weighs a tonne and all the cutting with a 115mm grinder.... You know, the hard way. Have since invested in a 200a inverter welder and big grinder, but a bit too late to help with the building of this floor construction. Has since been primed and sprayed, but no further... Time is few...

Restored my old work bench this weekend. I can remember as far back as when I was 7 years old, my Dad already had this bench, we just moved into our first house and him and me were building the burglar proofing on this bench. Many more steel work happened on this bench and many engines were overhauled on this bench.

I will sand and repaint the drawers some time in the future as I am not happy with them yet.
Unfortunately I took the before picture only after I started to take it apart.

Yes the two Toyota's sleep behind each other in here and I can still move about them and open both tailgates fully with the doors closed.

The cave is not finished yet but we are getting there slowly.

Mine is really in a state of turmoil, quite ashamed to post pics here. I am hiding the more untidy parts, you only get to see the "not so untidy" parts. I rudely disturbed the sleeping Toys a few minutes ago to snap these cell-phone pics.

Oom Eric, if you call that untidy, then you do not want to see my garage. Nice to see so many well kept hilux's in one garage.
Now the question is, which one is your favorite?

I have another double garage in front of the house where Hound Dog and the C180 sleep. Until I built the new garage, the C180 was always the car that stood outside whereas "my children" were all safely tucked in! ;)

People could not understand my logic, but then, "they just don't get it!"

Neil, this is the pic in the open area next to Bulldog that I was not going to show you, but since you mentioned it... :whistler:

Eric it seems to me that you only managed to move Bull Dog and White fang forward since I has been there a 2 years ago....
You would have to swop them around on bi-daily basis or you can just let me run them on a week and weekend basis to keep the motors well oiled..

Eric it is logic as very few people would steal the C180 as opposed to your children that will be gone in a flash. But then the people that doesn't understand never owned these highly collectible brand of vehicles.

Sa'bona, Blom. Yes, that is a Pinball machine. I was asked to store it for a friend's sister about 15 years ago, I was in the process of restoring it when he said his sis wanted to come fetch it, so I stopped. That was now about fiver years ago and she still has not done so. I need the balls for it, otherwise as far as i remember it is complete. Used to love these things when I was but a piccanin!

I have boxes of old magazines (Car, SA4x4 etc) lying in cardboard boxes on the floor, cant bring myself to simply throw them out so if any takers are interested, they're yours - basella! But you will need to collect, magazines are heavy.

Jou gaatjie lyk goed, Pieter.

Daai is Mia. 2.5 jaar oud.
