Hope your recovery is far quicker than expected. You are in our thoughts and prayers.....
Please I am recuperating from a left foot amputation from Cerebral Malaria that I picked up from Ghana. It was really bad and I was in a coma for nearly 5 weeks and nearly went a few times!
I want to send a broadcast message to the guys about this strain of malaria that is becoming more prevalent. Maybe you can do an email or put it in the next newsletter. If after a trip they feel in the least bit flu-ish in any way! GO AND GET A BLOOD TEST DONE!!
I had to sell my Hilux in a hurry as I needed auto! I miss her terribly! I am obviously looking for a replacement auto 4x4 Hilux or Tuna in the next year or so. Have to keep the new platkar for at least a year not to lose on her.

Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Dave (Damazon) we wish you a speedy recovery and thank you for your warning.
Do you know if that strain of malaria is also prevalent here in Southern African States?
