Terios - tow rating

Post by ChrisF »

A question for those with experience of the Terios 4x4.

What is the tow rating of the Terios ?

Single cab Hilux ... NICE for two ..... uhm ja well .... not so nice when your "peet kind" cant come along .....

Considering an off road trailer and a "4 seater" .... (without totally blowing the budget)

I tow my bike trailer and on occasion my luggage trailer and our rubber duck with my wife's Terios II 4x4.

Terios cruses at 120km/h without hesitation. Just need to keep the revs up on a steep uphill.

I have overloaded the luggage trailer and the Terios still coped without problem.

Ag nee man Chris, gaan jy dan vir Elders verkoop.

Ek Moet selfs vir die baas permiesie vra om my bakkie trug te kry as ek by die huis is vir my af dae.[FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]

Louis dis n erg emosionele saak ....

Die klein mannetjie is nou so diep in ons harte. Speel juis nou weer hier by ons - my vrou ontpop heeltemaal met die kleinding !

Dis my hart se punt op ons laaste uitstappie toe ek by die huis was.

Chris, I've never really worked out the fuel consumption I just fill up and go.

When you drive a 2.7i anything better than 5km/l is good.

On average I get around 10.5km/l, my wife around 15km/l without a trailer.

The SWB that's made in the Toyota Factory Japan is an amazing vehicle, I wouldn't buy the LWB that's made in Malaysia, I think.
