Did a RECCE to Berakha today to check out the camping facilities. Needed to check if a normal plat karavaan (Penta) would be able to handle the road.
Seems fine so we may stay over the Fri & Sat nights.

Who else will be camping?

We are also interested in camping for the weekend.

Can anyone provide a reference of how the camping facilities are @ Berakah?

We will probably be staying over on the Friday & Saturday nights.
Yesterday I spoke to the lady that runs the office. The campsite is about 500m away from the main office & chalets. We did not go up to the campsite, we were in a platkar.
Check the website for photos of the facilities. http://www.berakah.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We were told that there is no electricity on the campsites, so 12v or gas it will be!

Looking forward to a great weekend. Just need to sort out an oil leak on my front right side shaft first!

Cheers

Sorry guys, Been a bit of a hectic weekend.

Okay. The plan will be to get together at 8, Start the breefing at 8:30 and start shortly afterwards.

At the breefing we will collect all the funds again like with Hennops as well as fill in all the documentating and make one payment so please do not pay seperately at the office. It is easier for us to keep control like that.

Price is R250 per vehicle.

Please bring along something to drink on the trail as well as dop & chop for the kuier afterwards.

For those who are camp and those wo have made payments already please just let me know so I can update my list.

Rafs and I will most probably be camping there on Friday night but will only know later on in the week.

Guys, This is going to be awesome. :yahoo:

: R 30-00 per child under 12.
Self catering chalets 2 bed (for one night) : R190-00 per person per night sharing.
