Groupon Topgear 4x4 Training course

Hey Guys,

My oulike Wife just bought us a 4x4 training course through groupon at topgear training academy. it costs R3700 for the two of us for one day (level 1 and 2), apparently its done at a course near Krugersdorp called bosvark of bospark. I think we being ripped off.. . has any body done this training or course? please let me know whats your thoughts on this?

I do not know that training course, but Bosvark on Robert Broom drive I do know... Hope you have a Karcher or Wap.... I still have red mud stains in my engine bay from a year ago...
There are better tracks, but Borvark is not bad, esp if you leave the built track section at the entrance and go play in the klip koppies at the back - baie klippe, maak seker jou band druk is reg, bande is duur...

It's a lot of money for a non accredited training course...

I had a look at their website and it doesn't look like their training is TETA accredited. Which means one day when the DCC stuff really comes along you'll have to be re-trained.

That said.. any training is better than no training... If the monies were paid over, make use of the opportunity if you cannot get a refund.

If they are TETA accredited, and I missed it, then I apologise.. :!:

Rather get a couple of guys together local and let Thys come and give you the training needed, you won't be sorry. a one day course at that price is a ripoff, no accreditation or certification, a certificate of attendance doesn't mean squad for the future.
The course should at least be two and a half days (a weekend)
I have heard about the company mentioned and M2CW I will not get involved in that direction.

Get a refund and invest in something worth it.
