Is anybody familiar with the Toyota V6 3.0EFI engine ito consumption, reliability etc
Looking at a '97 Hilux SURF with above engine and auto gearbox

That might be the 3VZ-FE - cast iron block with ally heads & SOHC. BIG difference between that & the 5VZ-FE (3.4). Thirsty motor for little power that 3.0 L!

Thank you - I thought as much :!: I've heard that the 3.4L engine is a beaut; I think they use it in the earlier generation Prado as well
