I was at Trekoskraal early Saturday morning and took the following pics.

Ron, there is a lekker two track at the back of long beach that one can go and explore. I got to the fence but I saw a turnoff to the right that goes over the dune (I had to turn back and never drove the "dune track). At Secrets and Perlemoenvlei there are a few tracks to take and I did not get to the dunes as the wind created high sand heaps where the road was. I did not want to go around it as I would have damaged the vegetation.

The sand was fairly hard but I know that when more vehicles go thru and the sand dries it will become lekker loose and maybe we can have a bit of a 4x4 thingie going at the same time.

O ja I almost forgot, there are 3 top roads from Secretes that the wind has created sand dunes in the carved out roads and I tell you the angles there is nice buy I think the chances of leaning the van against the side of the embankment is a very strong possibility. No pics as I could not open the door

Bennie, I have to tell you... it's your feet! Plus the fact that travelling with a sobbing BB supporter would be a very unpleasant experience!

Nope, plans change fairly unexpectedly at this time of the year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the garage-cum-storeroom I am building will now not be completed before the departure date, which is what I had originally planned for. Partly due to the delay caused by the 'flu which knocked me for a six from our Durban friends, resulting in a delay of more than a week, and also due to the original plans which I had submitted for the alterations being completely changed by me to allow me to double the size I had originally intended (also due to unforeseen circumstances). I had to do some very convincing talking to the Building Inspector when he arrived today to check the foundations and he found that the planned area is exactly double that shown on the original plans. So I now require new plans to be drawn and re-submit same to the Authorities, another delay

But I will make it up one of these days, and certainly not for only one weekend!!

Ek vlieg eers die 19de trug SA toe en my bakkie moet getoets word, staan al te lank in die garage
en lui word!!!
Ek het ook n site daar, wel weet nie of hy nog staan nie, my broers plunder mos alles as mens nie daar is nie.
Dalk help dit met staan plek vir n naweek.
O ja, en n vars weskus kreefie sal mos al te lekker af gaan, saam n botel soetes as mens so uit die water klim!
Wil nie julle reelings verander nie, gooi maarnet n klip in die bos.

I suggest that we gtg in Vredenburg, Main Road, at around 08:00 and leave shortly thereafter for Trekoskraal. We need to be there as long as possible before the low tide to ensure a good catch in a max amount of time before the tide comes in again.
