Vigo 2.5 d4d 4x4, how much oil in engine?

Post by jacques kotze »

I serviced my 2.5 d4d 4x4 today, the usual air filter, diesel filter and oil & oil filter. I serviced it a lot in the past, but I just need to make sure of how much oil does the engine take. I know it is in the region of 6L of oil. Can anyone confirm this please.

Thanks

Correct 7l

And the coolant systems takes almost 10l

One 5l bottle of the pink stuff is almost R240, so R500 to replace it.

Anybody here experienced a leak on the top tank of the radiator?

For interest sake a d4d radiator is R1295 at Silverton
