Okay so Sunday 13th at 10:30, a Hilux special breakfast at Tameret coffee shop in the Somerset Mall... All hiluxers welcome...

Think we are going to need some numbers so that it will help with the catering arrangements......

True.... I did'nt realise it was Mother's day when I made the arrangements so could have chosen another date... But I must also add that Mother's Day has 24 hrs in it and the breakfast will probably only be for about 2 hrs..., and my kids make me feel special all year round anyway...

Have both Mothers (and families) comming over for breakfast / lunch . . . So those 2 hours I'll be spending making food for a small army . . .

I agree Rudi... The breakfast has been mentioned in the Hilux newletter, so here's to hoping there will be some more joining us... Every time I see a Lux in the area am tempted to flag them down and invite them, but afraid they may run me over....

Thanks Mark we had a great breakfast. Rudi and Jeanne thanks, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast... Thanks for preparing a special table for us and the really warm welcome we received... And to the Hilux people that attended.... Really super to see some of you again after quite a while.. and to those that joined us for the first time.. really great to meet you... I have photo's but am struggling to load them for the moment.... Card reader not happy.... Have to dash off to my parents now and will try and see if I can load them this evening... To those that travelled a long distance to get to us, thanks... Definitely want to organize another get together as soon as possible but this time with our vehicles...

Pieter suggested a really nice place near him and I think it is a great idea.... Will get the name from him again and maybe we organize one in a month or two...In fact maybe we must organize a breakkie again in the flower season so we can combine it with some good flower photography.... See there are quite a few keen photographers in the WC and that will go down well.

Don't know about squatting at Pieters, but there is a farm restaurant nearby that does great breakfast and I thought if we go there in flower season, those of us that enjoy photography could get some good photo's... but am sure there are lots of members that would enjoy a drive through the reserve afterwards to see the flowers.. and maybe if there is a 4x4 trail nearby we could do that...
