On sand the landing is a little softer ..... more chance of damaging something on an IFS than on a SFA .... shocks take the biggest knock ..... but it's fun!

Nah, just joking- this was not intentional. It was actually just a little meter high embankment and I just got the eye:accelerator foot coordination a bit wrong the second time round. Made for some good pictures though!?!?!?! BTW, the "lift-off" was harder than the landing. Besides, they dont call something Hilux-Tough for nothing. It certainly had the stadsjapies impressed.

Ek sou raai. Ek het lank terug met n scoot om n motorcross baan gejaag en bg teorie beproef en die eind resultaat is: Wanneer die wiel teen n spoerse moed draai en dit tref die stilstaande/relatief stadig-bewegende grond, dan gaan die ketting hard vas blixem tussen die voorste sprocket en die casing. Dit klim ook agter af en slaan die wiel vas, met die gevolg dat die "moer wat die handlebars vashou" ordentelik neer voeter. Behalwe van n stukkende moer, is die moer se beursie ook geduik.


Ek kan dink dit is dieselfde met n bakkie. Ek het wel baie stadig gery- 2de laag.
