Ahoy.
Where can I find the allowed quantities of fish I can bring back from Namibia (recreational base).
I already got the permit but i struggle to find the amount i can bring back.
I read somewhere that it is 3x your daily bag limit.
Thanks

Re: Fish quantities for Namibia imports
You are allowed to transport 30 fish per permit with the following regulations.
No more than two fish longer that 70cm
No fish shorter than 40cm expect for Blacktail.
The fish must only be gutted.
The same rules apply in Namibia when transporting fish.
And that Permit hurts the pocket! I was not impressed when I heard they upped it from R140.00 to R505.00. It is maddness.

We never got it stated on paper. We saw it when we bought our fishing licences at the Marine office in Henties they had it scratched on a black board.... We never got asked to produce that permit when we came back. Go figure!
