hilux head gasket
Guys im replacing my blown head gasket i just need to know how hard to tighten the bolts for the head?
With each replacement of parts, a car slowly becomes Chinese.

have a look in the workshope manual section. Depending on the model etc you should be able to find something there.

Luke. What did you do when you blew your headgasket? Were there roadrage involved? Oh, I'm sorry... were you talking about the lux?
I've got a 22R engine manual. Please let me know if you've got the same engine and I'll look up the torque wrench settings for you.

Pampoen, if you havent found anything yet, send me a pm with your email and i will send you the section of the manual that has the torque settings and tightening sequence.
Unfortunately the entire file is 50MB which is usually well over most server allowances, but if yours can handle it then let me know and I'll try send the whole thing.
