Honeydew Toyota will be having the first ever GPS Challenge for a couple of our 4x4 outdoor enthusiast customers.

The date is set for the 19/02/2011. 60 4x4 vehicles will be entered for this event. If you want to participate in this event, please feel free to contact me. Is going to be good fun.
Please bring your own snack and things for in the car during the event. Afterwards you can braai some meat
There will be a swimming pool, Bar,small restaurant so the kids and yourself can cool down after a long day in the vehicle
We will have a drivers meeting the week prior to the day to go through some do's and don’t's.

The day will start at 05:30am on Saturday and will carry on for the whole day. We will do the prize giving at about 18:00pm
and we will be socializing afterwards. Some of us as well as some customers will be camping to enjoy the next day (Sunday)
on the 4x4 course and quad bike course.

The Entry fee will cost you R250.00 for the day. So come have some fun. Its not about breaking and damaging vehicles, its about family and friends time.

There will also be some nice stands for those who wants to burn some cash on accessories. So bring your wallets.

Hi All,

Just a quick update letter. We getting close to a day we all going to enjoy.

We have decided to make set the drivers briefing evening to Wednesday the 16th Feb 2011.

It’s better to have the meeting next week. There is a lot of Info and by doing it this way the info will still be fresh by Saterday for the event.

The Prizes has gone up to R50 000.00 in value.

Ah what a a nice day, nice and relaxing and a bit stressful at times....

The day started off with a light drizzle. Which indeed mad the 10 obstacles quite tricky! The marshals were nice and friendly staff from Honeydew Toyota. All participants really njoyed the day's outing, which ended in a huge downpour just before closing.

Well done to Stefan ' MyTruck' winning a R1500.00 tyre and a R500.00 voucher!

Gee whizz, did we have a fun day. We really really enjoyed it. I still think that those of use who did obstacles one and two in the drizzle should have been given a handicap.

No real story, I think it was more operator error. I can't even blame the nav (who by the way owes a Land Rover ). I chose the line and nearly paid the price. After all that I even lost points cause the mirror touched the friggin pole. Anyway lesson learn't watch for the roll over angle.
