Heat gauge messing around???

It looks like a bad connection or something as it bounces from cold to halfway eratically. Can anyone comment?

Probably the sender unit(sensor)... check that the connection on the sensor is secure...

It is probably located on the radiator, right?

No it will be on the cylinderhead close to the oulet pipe to the radiator or close to the thermostat housing.

Often the sensor is screwed into the head... but it seems the KZTE's one is elsewhere...
