Hwange National Park

I am considering a trip to Hwange National Park. Any tips or ideas??

We were in Hwange during June this year, we camped at Masuma pan for 3 days. We didn't see much game at all. Bush is very dense but other feedback I got was also that the game is scarce and skittish. The main camps are run down and you cannot buy a cool-drink anyware.
Maybe better to try for Mana Pools, especially in the dry season. We were in Chizarira as well, also very little game.
