Hilux 4x4 Forum

Hi all
Need some help here please. Kids want to see some snow this weekend and I am game for a road trip with the "Lux" but not sure where to go. Am from Gauteng so my first choice was Sani pass, but tonsil here has let 3 out of the 4 passports expire. So I don't think thats gonna work.
Any other suggestions?

Maybe somewhere in the Eastern Freestate .... like the Golden Gate area .... One would have to check weather / snow reports first of course and it would help to call the local tourist centres / hotels in the area to confirm. Otherwise the northern Eastern Cape / Transkei ... places like Ugie, MacClear, Elliot, Sterkspruit ..... but that would be a much longer haul from your side.
