22 May 2010 - Toyota World Record attempt
On Saturday 22 May Toyota owners will gather in their masses for the first
annual Toyota owners Family Fun and Record Day hosted by the South
African Air Force Museum at the Swartkops Air Force base. They invite all
Toyota owners, doesn’t matter how old or what shape the Toyota, as long
as it is a Toyota, to take part in this fun filled day where a new Guinness
Record will be attempted. Apart from the main record for the most
individually owned Toyota vehicles at the same place at the same time,
we also want to set a Hilux and Fortuner record.
Participants can also look forward to some unique Toyota vehicles that
will be showcased as well as a number of challenges involving Toyota’s.
The impressive South African Air Force Museum will also be open for
participants and their families to visit for free.
Hilux4x4 participants will only have to pay R75 per vehicle while entry per
person is free. Entry fee includes a DVD of the Record day and money will
be hand over to a charity organisation on the day.
To register and for payment details, please visit
http://www.toyotarecordday.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or to be one of the exhibitors, please
contact: 082 891 0833 or 083 688 7431.

Somebody asked how they will know you must only pay R75, I contacted Dandre and she said the guys at the gate will ask you if you are from the Hilux4x4 or TwinCam club.

Unfortunately I will not be there but I agree with you guys, let all the Hilux guys park together, whether they part of the forum or club or not. I will ask Dandre if they have a kind of site plan where they can reserve an area for the Hilux guys.

Dit is verseker moontlik vir die Hilux bakkies om saam te parkeer. Daar is ander groepe wat ook saam parkeer.
Geniet die dag,

Welcome to the forum Dandre, and thanks for the info!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Dandre, sit julle areas uit of moet die ouens dit self organiseer?
Daar was 'n voorstel dat die Hilux Club langs die Cruiser Club staan aangesien baie van die Cruiser manne ook Hiluxes besit en visa versa
