What say you fellow Capie Hilux Manne? Are we going to weather the Cape Storms and do a trail on the date mentioned above? 4 months have transpired since our last "official" club day-trip and I think it is time we got together and drove the carbon out of our Hilux'es for a change. 8 )
At the moment I am looking at going to Babilon's Torin, a trail we did before with great success. This trail is very scenic, and with some nice ups and downs will make for some interesting driving. Some kudus, zebras, eland and other wildlife can be seen in the wild. On each hill we ascend is a "playground" with a view to die for and some nice cross-axles, a mud pit, a teeter-totter and opposite cambers to test your nerves. This also gives you the opportunity to take some nice "poser" photos for your Photobucket album.
There are braai facilities at the bungalows near the dam where we can have an "after party" to enjoy a few OBS's to warm the extremities and braai a few chops and some wors.
