Hi everyone as you can Jaco is now unable to attend, also Zepplin is unable to attend but has gratefully donated his monies to F_D... - Nice one Zepp

I have paid for everything now, SPIT , SALADS/ROLLS - TRAIL/CAMP all confirmed and ready to rumble....if anyone is coming through to Caledon earlier on Friday you are more than welcome to pop in and see me at my warehouse....Nestle Ice Cream, 5 New Cross Street......I am working till about 3. Theres a decent Spar and Diamonds liquor store so you can stock up before you head out to the Farm, Wood is available on the Farm at R30 for 50 pieces, so if we all chip in we can get nearly a 1000 pieces which should last us through Friday evening.....

Really looking forward to seeing some new faces and putting them to their handles and lets have a great time around the fire and drink a few

Stefan... you must bear in mind that this Fordjie has some strategically placed Toyota DNA, and in the experienced hands of Oom Thys... it will do things that no other Ford can/or will(and some Toyota's)... so beware you might just land up swallowing your words!

Botanical gardens on the left hand side of the road, opposite the Caledon town turnoff....., seems like quite a few of us thought of arriving early at Voorhoede...., don't enjoy setting up camp as sun is setting, prefer to have a fire going by then and a glass of sav blanc....

so is anyone keen on meeting at the botanical gardens..I agree we can't all arrive at Nestle's

Ok, so ive made a call, to hansie, he ownes "die venster" pub and grill in caledon, he's willing to give us a brunch/lunch at a reduced rate,

, so if any of u want to stop there, he's place is about 50m from the botanical gardens anyway, i should be there around 1:30, stubs wilalso join us up thereat about 2:30 3 ish, for those whom decide to wait, voorhoede is aparantly only about 10 km away from there, i'll post gps co tomorow mid afternoon

Only problem is whether we have secure parking for our fully loaded vehicles because lots of crime at the moment. My friends car was stolen from her front lawn 15 min after she arrived home from work today, so not too keen to leave my Lux unless I can keep an eye on it.....

I have got party packs for 6 children, Gene, JC, Bretton x2, and Johannes x2...... Will be stopping off at the Venster restaurant for a meal and a cold drink on my way..... My friend Jannine has been involved in children's theatre and she is looking to see if she can find same face paint for the kids in her treasure box.... was hoping she could put something together for the kids, she's a really good actress, singer, dancer.... but too last minute... okay trailers packed, and ready, just my clothes, food and drinks...
