Okay, it is decision time anyway. Looks like we are going to have a wet-one again next Saturday, and we want this to be an extra special event, so maybe we can postpone it until we have "good" weather? This will probably not be not be until Spring, but let's see how it goes? The 15th is a long weekend, and I know Anton is not available to assist us with organising and some of the equipment.

Tertius, what is your feeling on this as the guy who organised all the sponsored prizes? How will the sponsors feel if we postpone for a couple of weeks, or even a couple of months? Most of our organising is done, in terms of documentation, equipment etc etc, and I think we can get it all together with about a week's notice if we all pull finger.

Fact is we wont be able to say with any kind of certainty that it wont rain in 2 week's time also, so it is a bit of a hoop-en-bid scenario. In the mean time, we can go to Atlantis for a "run-around".

Come on guys lets discuss this a bit and get consensus around this?

If we can have the same weather next Saturday as we had today it will be fantastic. Sand is HARD!! Even the diesels had no problems on the sand...

I found us a nice place to have the event, with a dune to charge, some plat area to do the reversing and a little roundabout route for the blind man's bluff. Sheltered from wind by a dune with some vegetation, and a place that's not going to be too busy with outside visitors.

We had a group of clients out there today, and they had a ball!!
