Baboons pass Lesotho
I am quite keen to do a trip up Baboons pass in Lesotho. I am no ways a Rambo kind of guy and much prefer the overlanding side of 4X4 but every now and then this type of thing can be fun. My only other tough drive so far was the Road To Hell and while doing that we met some other guys that said I should give Baboons a go.
No way I can do it on my own so is anyone else interested? I would like to get 3 or 4 people together for the trip. Someone with more experience than me would also be good.
I have a 2.7i sc with rear lockers, winch ARB front bumber and high lift jack points front and rear. OME tortion bars up front, OME leafs at the back and OME shocks all round. Vehicle in good condition and well maintained. Anyone care to join me and my wife on this trip?

A story with a happy ending is a story that hasn't ended yet

The wheel came off at 60km/h, and rolled into a valley about 1km further. This was on the way home

I must say the Raider was looking a lot 'healthier' when you sold it, Mark.
What was the cause of the wheel coming off?

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Martin did is in March this year we were 5 Hiluxis from the SFA, KZ shape and my D4D no major damage to any of the Luxes but we did is in 2.5 day took our time packed rocks and all of us has quite a bit of experience. Baboons can cause major damage to your vehicle and personal injury if taken lightly and incorrect. Like OOOOMS said pm me if you need any info and let me know when you planning to go will like to do it again
Here is some photos of our trip
