Botswana in August

Post by Jinglis »

I'm planning a solo trip to the Northern Central Kalahari in August and one always has to be prepared. My Hilux has never left me in the lurch but the possibility of a major breakdown is always there. Does anybody have any contacts for recovery situations in that area???

We will be in D'Kar for 10 days in August.
We visiting a misson would help out if you have any problems.
The minister at the mission always helps with a smile.

Thanks Boertjie

If there is a phone number that would be great. I will always try Cross Country first, But as they say anything can happen

The Raider is going great and she's just been for a full service at Steve's Auto Clinic so I'm pretty confident.
Thanks again

My advice would be not to do it solo, unless you have a sat tel, helicopter backup etc.But if this would lead to a good trail report again,we will come help you. Some of us are sitting and waiting for a good excuse to visit Bots.Enjoy lone ranger
