IFS sunvisors

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for interior parts. My IFS's sunvisors mounting plates have cracked in half and need replacing. Does anyone know of a scrapyard that might have stock?

i'm having the same problem with my 2001 model corolla.
Is it possible to replace only the plastic mounting place or must you buy the entire sun visor?

If Toyota have them, it will be pricey. I've not even bothered to ask to be honest.

There are 3D print files for the mounting bracket, but I've not been able to figure out how I'm going to get the little retension collar thing off and back on again.

ja, i see that as a stumbling block as well. looks like a little crown.
Toyota !! always making things difficult. Why not just a normal circlip.

Circlip or do google search for spring caps.
Look at these pirate ones, they have a nyloc nut. Maybe you can cut thread on the tip and put a nut.

The nut idea is a great one! Hopefully it's close to a standard thread diameter. Otherwise I might try cut a circlip groove with a hacksaw blade.

i wa actually thinking of cutting of thin metal plate to replace the flimsy plastic backing plate.
