Aircon Startup Delay

Hi Hilux enthusiasts.

When I start my Hilux the aircon takes 3+ minutes to turn on. The previous settings are also lost, so when the unit turns on it starts with 25 degrees celsius. I have looked for fuses and the obvious with no result. The aircon also only works on the coldest setting, if I go 1 degree higher, then the heater turns on.

Any advise would be appreciated before I take it to the dealership.

Sounds more like a control module problem to me especially if it loose your previous settings.
Is your Hilux still under warranty?
