Wireless Central Locking on Hilux

A while back I came across a post on adding remote locking on a Hilux with central locking using the key.

The writer uses relays to interface the remote unit with the existing wiring.

Do any one knows about such an article on this forum? Will be a few years back.

Ouboet's engine was rebuild and in the process struggling to get it to start the remote locking was disabled, not that it ever worked good when I bought it in 2012

I want to install an after market unit and saw that article, but mislaid it now

Ooo, sorted it out myself. I thought you have to power the central locking system, but you actually only ground the wires of the factory fitted central locking for it to work. Everything is working fine now
