Was wondering if there is anyone on the forum that can help me out with some interior parts for my old Hilux. I'm looking for a cabin light dome (the IKI plastic bit) can be the whole unit not to fussed. Then also the air vent face plate - will post some pictures. Been contacting loads of places with zero luck. Otherwise any suggestion how one can go about repairing something like this.
I know interior parts are a real pain to get hold off, just figured I can try my luck here. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Lebowski ,Jaco Groenveld from SFA living might also be able to assist you with interior parts. Google SFA LIVING and you will be surprise what Jaco offers.

I think 4x4Direct (Pietpetoors on this forum) used to sell this heating-vent sticker as well, give him a shout. I bought an original from Toyota but that was some 12 years ago, doubt they will still have them but one never knows.

Hi Joseph
Just a note, the cabin light plastics does not get a hole so easily. I think a bigger bulb was used for brightness which gives off much more heat thus the melting of the plastic. Make sure it has the correct size bulb when reinstalling the new plastic cover.

4x4 Direct sells LED dome light that make much more light and uses less power. The led light is also much cooler and will not burn the plastic cover of the dome light.

Thanks for this Bear. Yeah to be honest I couldn't figure out why it broke so easily in the first place. Will definitely check the bulb once I can source a new plastic cover - wondering if it won't be easier 3D printing one if that's a thing...
Toyota haven't changed their interior light much at all, so much so that the covers from the 1999-2005 IFS Hilux will fit too, you might even be able to get one from Toyota ( I got mine from a scrap yard). Mine perished in exactly the same spot after only 30 years of use :D
The LED replacements are fantastic.
Happy trails

That's great news niclemaitre! I also thought later models will fit was just unsure. Great to get this confirmation from you : )
Also is there any link to those LED lights you guys are talking about, I cant seem to find it.
Speaking about LED lights. I found them to be bright but also directional, meaning the brightness is focused in one direction. In this case downwards. It does lack a bit of brightness in the front seats. You will notice it if you trying to read, etc.
