Hi Everyone
I am new to the Forum, so please excuse if this is not the right place to post a question.
But ... I am seeking advice on second-hand (or new) back drawers and dust-free canopy for Hilux 2013 model - in the Cape Town area.
Can anyone recommend the best person/people to speak to.
With thanks.
Alex

Re: Hilux 2013 drawers and dust-free canopy
Hi Alex
There is no such thing as a dust free canopy. You can install a dust prevention kit to plug the openings around your tailgate to prevent dust from being sucked into the loadbin. 4x4Direct sells these if I remember correctly.
The best foolproof way to prevent dust inside your canopy is positive air pressure. This is achieved by opening the sliding window between the canopy and the cab while driving on dusty roads. You could also install a vent that scoops air from the front while driving to force air into the canopy.

Alex there are "dust kits" that seal up the gaps on the tailgate.
Mate of mine got a veey decent one - but for a FORD....
Haven't really seen decen kits for Toyota though.
Check out on Youtube to get an idea. Quite simple to DIY your own.
