Seat replacement
I recently bought a Hilux RSX DC GD6. The bakkie has got a non-adjustable driver’s seat, but because I am tall, I want to replace this seat with an adjustable one. According to the local dealership, I need to only buy the seat frame (R4200) but refuses to do the work as it will affect the vehicle’s warranty. Can I do this job myself, and I can I look for a second-hand frame?

Re: Seat replacement
That is insane. How can work done to the bakkie by a Toyota Dealership using Toyota parts which is a simple retrofit impact on the warranty. It sounds very straight forward to me to do it but if that is in fact correct then you will still lose the warranty.
Really does not sound right to me. Perhaps you can phone another dealership and find out?
