What's wrong with the original carb?
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Hilux 22R 2.4 petrol
The flooding is probably due to a faulty needle and seat valve - you can replace yourself for under R200. If you go the weber route, there would need to be modifications to fit it as well as a anti flood on inclines mod to the carb itself and then lastly, I would think that a weber 38 would be more suited to the 2.4 ..... all means more extra bucks and by the time you're done it's well over R2000 and that's if you DIY.
I would sort the original carb. Just M2CW.

That's true I also heard that if one installs a Weber on a Hilux..you need to install an altitude regulator..so that's more costs
