Hi there
I've been doing some research on the 'new' Hilux and specifically the Raider version produced and sold in South Africa. I found it disappointing that Toyota SA does not offer at least the Raider variants with the same LED headlight clusters as for the SA produced Fortuner and overseas models of the Hilux.
Forget for a moment that it arguably looks better, being the owner of a recent model Prado VX with the LED headlights, these headlights are extremely bright and effective at night, which is of importance to me as I do a lot of driving at night, but with limited use of brights/high beam, i.e. fiting LED bars will not necessarily solve my issue.
Has anyone on this forum ever queried this. or have any views on this?
Thanks
Dirk

Its a thing of Toyota, none of the lights are usually the same as its counterpart(ie. Fortuner)
Does your headlights have the H4 Globes in at the moment?

Thanks for the comments thus far. I think its H4 and yes, one can fit LED globes, but this is not ideal given the present headlight lenses and I guess my main gripe is just this oversight or deliberate saving on a premium model which should not be a debate.
Same deal with keyless start.

The H4 LED globes works quite great with the Revo. If you wanted more light at night it will make a huge difference. The lenses have no influence.

Yep lenses is irrelevant, I have h4 leds in mine and I haven't used my narva spotties since fitting the leds!
