Hilux Lexus 1uz Conversion
Hi Guys keep on watching this page we will be posting new pictures as the project progresses the client wants to replace the 5L engine and gearbox with a 1uz Lexus v8 engine and auto box fitted with Spitronics ECU & TCU

I have a '98 IFS d/c 4x4 also with 1UZ conversion. Ran the 5l originally. Still with original 5 speed manual box, I am currently busy with some drive train fettling. Diff ratios are way too high. (3600 - 3700rpm @122km/h *gps*) Looking at bringing them down to 4.11.
Just curious to know if you guys stayed with the original diff ratios or changed them out?
My headache is that the rear axle is the import type, so can't find spares. trying to source one with a turnd out centre portion that will take the 4.11 setup.
