Please wear the right footwear when you go out on the trail. Last weekend we were doing training at Welgelegen4x4 and I was wearing my Crocs.. (again).. here's what happened.
Took me almost a week to straighten the chassis and get the alignment right again...
Be careful out there...

Geesh Thys that was a snot shot of a fall! Glad you came away in one piece. Btw how did the Renault Duster do? Wish they named that vehicle something else!

Eish! Was a decent fall!!!!
Currently sitting at the hospital - one of the Ooms on the farm came off a ladder & broke his hip!!

Bretton I was pleasantly surprised by the Duster. A real hardcore offroader it aint, but t had no trouble getting up that hill, and it managed to get up some other hairy bits as well. All without bottoming out, and without a struggle. As a little runabout and to do some dirt road driving it would be perfect..

not nice, hope you get well soon!!! I also had similar fate with my slops this weekend at 2 oceans luckily i had my strap flops with and changed my shoes, i also learnt take the right foot gear with.
