Air bag light on D4D

Post by rechardt »

This morning my Hilux D4D reached its 250000km milestone. Strange thing happened. As it clocked 250k kms..the air bag light came on.
Does anyone have any theories around this. What could the problem be. Can it just be reset.

Step 1: Create an account here: http://toyota.co.za/mytoyota" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Step 2: When you login with your VIN number it will tell you to bring the vehicle in for a free spiral cable replacement as part of a recall.

Step 3: Take the vehicle to Toyo and have a cup of coffee while its sorted at no cost to you

Step 4: buy me beer as a thank you :)

Dammit

There go the beers...

Ask the dealership. They sometimes motivate and will still get it done free or TSA covers part of the cost.
