Haboob, that was a pond crossing to Malyo Wilderness camp while they repaired their log bridge.

If this is the Malyo Community Camp in the Caprivi I spent a night there in about 2006. Beautiful setting with their reed covered ablution facilities on the River Bank. We had just been through Kaudom and spent the night before at Ngepi and the night after was at Kasane in Botswana. Just looking back at the old pitchas. There was also a sandy patch going over an incline which had a dip just below the summit, which took all our forward momentum out, so had to change 4L to get over the top. Were even given a wheelbarrow of braai wood after booking in...
