Wil net graag weet..... Ek het 'n import diff op my SFA..Is dit die moeite werd om die huidige diff te verkoop en 'n local te soek en daan difflock op te sit of nie? Soos ek verstaan kan mens nie 'n difflock op 'n import diff sit nie. En wat kos dit min of meer

Kobus, you can fit lockers to the import diff. Do a search here and you'll find PLENTY of info.

The import diff is stronger than the local Gearmax diff so don't swap.
Crooza VX 80 efi - fully locked.

Jy kan locker vir beide insit maar die local diff se locker is goedkoper. Die import diff se shafts is wel 3mm dikker in deursnit

wat sal dit ongeveer kos vir die toyota elec locker (net agter) ?

I recall a tread from more than 2 yrs back that mentioned a figure of about 6K fitted, but doubt that will still hold true. All you need is the replacement 3rd member diff with locker fitted (your original banjo housing remains, so no interference with suspension but you do have to draw the half-shafts), and of course the electrical control components.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
