LED Foglights
So I thought I'd share this with you....
Bought my wife a new Fortuner (Black Interior) in December. As this one has the HID lights the front fogs look pale and yellow in comparison, so I ordered a set of LED replacement globes from Peter at 4x4 Direct.
Quality and I think it looks way cooler!

Re: LED Foglights
They do look much better indeed. Loved the look of that white.
Had a set of led in my spots as well. The one led units front leds stopped working for some reason. So i re installed the original globes again.
But must say i think Led aren't completely there with the light it gives. The original still gives better light. But soon the Led will get to that and take over the market.

Re: LED Foglights
Looks good! You will probably see that the LED's are a cooler colour than the HID's or incandescents, so might appear to be bluish by comparison.

Re: LED Foglights
@Whiteley, die globes vir die spots is n HB4. Jy kan hulle by 4x4 Direct kry. Jy kry twee van hulle. Ek sit vir jou die links hier onder aan.
http://www.4x4direct.co.za/shop/led-rep ... -p-242.htm
http://www.4x4direct.co.za/shop/led-rep ... -p-534.htm
Ek het die 16watt gehad. Ek sal weer in sit sodra ek nog n globe bestel het. Die twee led op die voor kant het ophou werk so will miskien eers kyk of dit nie iets anders is nie.

Re: LED Foglights
Bennie,
Those LED's look great, did you fit them yourself ?
I also want to replace mine but not sure how to get to the globe. There's a black plastic housing around the fog lamp, not sure if you have to remove that to change globes or do you access it through the wheel arch ?

Re: LED Foglights
You have to unbolt the plastic cover directly below the fog lights. Not difficult at all. Once loose you just move it enough to get your hand to the globe. If memory serves me correctly the globe twists off counter clockwise!
Bit fidgety but not difficult at all!

Dankie Kerels.
For your pleasure I added these two pics. I built myself a little "workshop" in August last year. Now renamed my Man Cave!
Progress has been made since including a man fridge (Only Man beverages allowed) ect.
Lots of fun!
